OPEN PLAY
PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY FOR 2011 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Open Play is when members and non-members play in random teams.  Open Play takes place several nights a week but is suspended during league play.  Please see below for additional details on times, locations, and current status.

Guests new to HVA must attend an open play session during either a Recreational or Intermediate open play night so that skill level can be assessed by the HVA Sports Committee.   Guests are not permitted to attend an advanced open play night without having the proper rating (NAGVA, USAV, HVA) and approval from the HVA Sports Committee.  This is for the safety of all players. 

Fees for Open Play (EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2011)
HVA Members - $6.00 at Agnes Scott, $6.00 at Druid Hills for Advanced Division, $7.00 at Druid Hills for Power Division; $10.00 for Non-Members 

RECREATIONAL LEVEL

Cost:  $6.00 for HVA Members ($10.00 for non members)

Location:  Agnes Scott College

When:  Friday Nights - 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Directions: The address for Agnes Scott College is 141 E. College Ave, Decatur, GA 30030).  The Woodruff Gym is located on E. Doughtery Street between S Candler St and S McDonough St.  Please note that E. Doughtery St is one way heading west from S Candler St.   The gym is located on the left and parking is available along the street on the right, in the parking lot to the right just past the gym, or in the larger tennis parking lot in the back.  To access the tennis parking lot, proceed forward to the stop sign, turn left and turn left at the first entrance on the left. 

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (Tuesday)

(B Level rated players able to play/learn 6-2 offense)

(NAGVA rated BB Level and above players. Games utilize 6-2 or 5-1 offense.)
