ABOUT US

Welcome to the online home of the Hotlanta Volleyball Association (HVA). HVA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote goodwill, understanding, and fellowship within Atlanta’s gay and lesbian community through the sport of volleyball. HVA is a member of the North American Gay Volleyball Association (NAGVA). HVA sponsors many activities throughout the year including athletic leagues, tournaments, socials, and fund-raising events. We encourage all interested individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, to participate in HVA and its sponsored activities.

If you are interested in joining HVA, COME PLAY WITH US during Open Play on either a Tuesday Night (Intermediate), Wednesday Night (Advanced BB or higher), or Friday Night (Recreation Level). Please download and complete a Membership Form to bring with you. If you have any questions about our organization send us an email and an HVA representative will contact you shortly.

MEMBERSHIP

2009-2010 HVA DUES

Membership dues are $15 a year. Memberships run from September 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010, and include discounted Open Play fees, annual HVA t-shirts, seasonal picnics and various social events. Membership in HVA is highly encouraged for all players. Please make checks payable to: HVA

NAGVA DUES

NAGVA (North American Gay Volleyball Association) supplemental insurance is not required to be a member of HVA or to participate in Advanced, Intermediate or Recreational League play, but is required to play in any NAGVA-sponsored tournaments. The $35.00 annual fee is paid directly to NAGVA via their website at www.NAGVA.org.

LEAGUE FEES

Fees for our leagues change from season to season. Spring 2010 League fees are $35 (covers gym rental during league, plus playoff).
