ABOUT US

Welcome to the online home of the Hotlanta Volleyball Association (HVA). HVA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote goodwill, understanding, and fellowship within Atlanta’s gay and lesbian community through the sport of volleyball. HVA is a member of the North American Gay Volleyball Association (NAGVA). HVA sponsors many activities throughout the year including athletic leagues, tournaments, socials, and fund-raising events. We encourage all interested individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, to participate in HVA and its sponsored activities.

If you are interested in joining HVA, COME PLAY WITH US during Open Play (see Open Play tab for more information).  Individuals interested in HVA are encouraged to register with HVA online at our website http://hotlantavolleyball.org/Registration/users_LogIn.php.   If you have any questions about HVA, send us an email and an HVA representative will contact you shortly.

MEMBERSHIP

2011-2012 HVA DUES

The 2010-11 season has begun.  Membership dues are $20 for the year and begins June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.  Membership in HVA is highly encouraged for all players.  You can pay membership with cash, check (payable to HVA), or online through HVA Member Login (see above). 

MEMBERSHIP ADVANTAGES

  • Regular e-newsletter with details and information on HVA news & events
  • Frequent "members only" events at local restaurants & bars
  • Opportunity to network with other volleyball enthusiasts
  • Ability to participate in HVA spring and fall leagues

NAGVA DUES

NAGVA (North American Gay Volleyball Association) supplemental insurance is not required to be a member of HVA or to participate in Advanced, Intermediate or Recreational League play, but is required to play in any NAGVA-sponsored tournaments. The NAGVA annual fee is paid directly to NAGVA via their website at www.NAGVA.org.
